The Most Colorful Time of the Year

With azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias, magnolias, Korean dogwood, and a few lingering cherries in bloom, we are entering the most colorful time of the year—just in time for the throngs of gardening enthusiasts arriving at our Annual Plant Sale. Our gardeners predict the wisteria arbor will be in full flower within 3 weeks, and the iris beds may bloom as early as mid-May this year.

First Hints of Red

Morning fog in the west hills and afternoon shadows growing longer—it’s beginning to feel like autumn again.

Be sure to bookmark Color in the Garden to check on our fall color. The peak of the season will arrive in mid-October.
