An ancient sport based in Shinto traditions, Sumo is one of my favorite things to attend in Japan. Each match is over very quickly so you must pay careful attention. The wrestlers try to knock each other out of the ring. I was lucky enough to go on the final day of the tournament and saw an epic battle for the championship. Japanese Prime Minister Aso was in attendance and presented the trophy to the winner!
