Volunteer Spotlight

Faith has led tours of the Garden for several years. She is known as one of the "plant Guides," that is, one of the Guides who have extensive horticultural knowledge of the Garden. In keeping with her love of plants, Faith has been one of the organizers of the Plant Sale since it began five years ago. She has been the Donations Coordinator for the past three years. "She is a tireless worker and wholly dedicated to promoting the essence of the garden," said Ed McVicker, Board President and co-organizer of the Plant Sale.

Last year, Faith volunteered to help create and manage our newest festival—Kiku Matsuri, the Chrysanthemum Festival. She is an active participant in the volunteer-led steering committee of Niwa-no-Bi Kai, a study group for Garden Guides. Thank you, Faith!
