Winter Scenes from the Garden

We are grateful to share that we had almost no tree damage during the storm in the Garden, attributed to a few reasons, including maple pruning completed in January, which helped to lighten the load so the weight from the ice didn’t reach a breaking point. As Caleb, one of our gardeners shared, “In this ice storm, we had garden maples bending all the way down to the ground, but when the ice melted, they stood back up as graceful as ever.”

Thank you to all of our gardeners for caring for and protecting this treasure.  A special thank you to Caleb for capturing this rare glimpse of the Garden in snow.
