Can I get a refund for my admission ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable. To request a ticket exchange, click here. Tickets can only be exchanged up to 24 hours prior to the original date and time (no day-of exchanges).
I am a student. How can I purchase a discounted event ticket?
Active students under 25 are eligible to purchase event tickets at a discounted rate for most events.
Student tickets can only be purchased over the phone through the Events line at (503) 542 0280.
Valid student ID must be shown at check-in to be admitted to event.
I need to cancel my reservation to an event. Can I get a refund?
All event tickets are non-refundable.
I purchased a Cultural Workshop series prior to the COVID-19 Garden closure.
If you had purchased tickets for Seasonal Textiles with Judilee Fitzhugh or Ikebana Study Course with Carolyn Alter, please find your options here:
- Receive a refund for the remaining value of the workshop fees, or
- Donate the remainder of your sessions to help sustain the Garden, or
- Continue with the newly configured sessions, likely involving virtual sessions or smaller in-person classes (date TBD)

I am a Garden member. How do I get my discount on event tickets?
Members must first log in to receive member priced tickets. If you have never purchased an event ticket online, you will first need to create a Garden Gift Shop account using the same email address associated with your membership. For questions regarding your Garden Gift Shop account, please contact Membership at (503) 796 9180 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I find my event or admission ticket?
Your eTicket is provided as a PDF document with your Order Confirmation email. If you do not receive an Order Confirmation email within 15 minutes after your purchase, first check the spam or junk folder in your e-mail. Your eTicket must be printed and brought with you for admittance. If you have lost your eTicket(s) or would like to download your eTicket(s) again, please follow these steps:
- Login to your Garden Gift Shop account.
- Click on “Purchase History”
- Click “Download and Print”
- Click “View Order Details” corresponding to your eTicket purchase
- Follow the link to download your eTicket(s) again

Can I load my eTicket onto my phone?
We can support eTickets downloaded to phones or mobile devices. Please have your downloaded eTicket ready on your phone when you arrive to check in for your event.
It's raining! Is my event still happening?
Garden events are typically held rain or shine. However if inclement weather forces us to close the Garden, you will be notified and refunded the cost of your ticket.
I bought a ticket to an event happening on several dates. Can I attend on a different night?
Unless the event is sold out, event tickets can be transferred to a different date up to 1 week prior to the event.

May I have a wedding, commitment ceremony, reception, etc. at the Garden?
To protect the Garden’s tranquility, authenticity, and environment, we do not allow weddings, commitment ceremonies, or receptions at the Garden.
May I bring my child to Garden events?
Children can attend most Garden events unless otherwise specified in the event details. Tickets are required for all event attendees over the age of 5.
